Avis (or Avery) is an actor, writer, musician, and muti-faceted performing artist based in NYC. She recently finished up her time at Boston University earning her BFA in Acting with a concentration in Musical Theatre. During her time in school she also had the privilege of going to London to study classical acting and Shakespeare at the renowned London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). She is a passionate artist drawn to work that expands her curiosity, requires her vulnerability, and challenges her wit, seeing storytelling as the most crucial and effective tool for human connection. She brings unwavering enthusiasm to every project she is a part of and is deeply committed to creating work that every person can see themselves reflected in. If she isn’t performing, you’ll probably find her cooking an elaborate feast for everyone she knows or locking into a coloring book.
